The Next Adventure for Emma Marie Photography

Over the past twelve months, my family and I have been lucky enough to travel right around Australia. It was an incredible adventure—seeing new places, meeting new people, and enjoying life on the road. Along the way, we visited some of the most incredible destinations: from the tropical magic of the Daintree Rainforest, to the rugged coastline of Tasmania, to the warm sunsets in Darwin and the red earth leading us across to Broome. But throughout that whole journey, one place kept calling us back: the South West of WA.

We had already visited the region many times before our lap of Australia, and every time we did, we fell a little more in love. There’s just something about the South West—the breathtaking beaches, the tall forests, the vineyards rolling into the horizon, and the warm community spirit—that feels so different and so special. In fact, we loved it so much that, before we even set off on our travels, we made the decision to purchase land here.

When we revisited during our lap around the country, it only confirmed what our hearts already knew: this was where we were meant to be. After a year on the road, we’re ready to put down roots, settle into a community, and build a home and a life here in this beautiful part of the world.

For me, this move also marks a new chapter for Emma Marie Photography. I specialise in family, maternity, and newborn photography, and I honestly can’t imagine a more perfect setting for capturing these precious milestones. The South West has endless backdrops—golden sunsets over the ocean, quiet little bush tracks, open fields, and charming coastal towns—that make every session unique and breathtaking.

But beyond the scenery, this move is about connection. I want to create not just beautiful photographs, but also meaningful relationships with the families and parents I work with. My hope is that Emma Marie Photography becomes part of the South West community—documenting the little moments, the big milestones, and everything in between.

I’m so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to meet the families, expectant mums, and sweet newborns who will become part of my story here in the South West.

If you’re based in the South West of WA and are looking for natural, warm, and heartfelt family, maternity, or newborn photography, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s create something truly special together, right here in this magical region we now get to call home.

I can't wait to see you all soon!!!
