Hi, I'm Emma Zealey – the face and heart behind Emma Marie Photography.

I’m a passionate Busselton photographer living in the stunning South West of WA with my husband and our two beautiful kids. Life is busy, colourful, and a little wild – just the way I like it.

Photography has been part of my life for over 16 years, but it truly came into focus (pun intended!) when I was on maternity leave with my daughter. That’s when I took the leap and turned my long-time side hustle into a full-time business – and I haven’t looked back.

My photography style is all about capturing real, natural moments in beautiful light. I’m especially drawn to rustic and bohemian aesthetics, and love bringing a sense of warmth and authenticity to every session – whether it’s a family shoot in Margaret River, a dreamy maternity session in the dunes, or a relaxed coastal elopement in Busselton.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually scribbling in one of my many notebooks (I'm super organised!), chasing after my kids, or dreaming up ideas with my background in Event Management and Graphic Design.


A Few Fun Facts About Me

  1. I am super organised and always have notes and diaries all over the house
  2. Before having kids, I owned a local bridal store for 5 years
  3. My husband proposed at the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains
  4. My all-time favourite food is matcha green tea ice-cream – and I love Mexican food
  5. My favourite colours are earthy tones and neutrals
  6. I’m really, really short – it’s like my legs just stopped growing at 12!
  7. I shoot exclusively with Canon – it’s hands-down my favourite camera brand
  8. Besides portraits, I adore food photography and landscapes
  9. My favourite animals are hippos and flamingoes (a bit random, I know!)
