Welcoming Baby Reign | A Relaxed In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Session in South West WA


There is something incredibly special about photographing families in the comfort of their own home, and Baby Reign's newborn session was no exception.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting beautiful baby Reign, proud mum Krystal, and his two big brothers, Forest and River, for a relaxed in-home lifestyle newborn session. From the moment I arrived, it was clear just how loved this little boy already is.

The best part about lifestyle newborn photography is that there's no pressure. There's no rushing out the door with a newborn, no unfamiliar studio environment, and no expectations for babies or siblings to behave a certain way. Instead, we simply spend time together, capturing your family exactly as you are in this beautiful season of life.

Forest and River were so gentle with their new baby brother, sharing cuddles, kisses and plenty of proud big brother moments. These are the memories that deserve to be documented—not just perfectly posed portraits, but the genuine connection between your family.

One of my favourite things about photographing newborns at home is that every gallery tells a unique story. Your baby's nursery, the couch where you spend endless hours feeding, tiny fingers wrapped around yours, and the little moments in between all become part of your family's story.

You don't need a picture-perfect house, and you certainly don't need a huge amount of natural light. Before your session, I'll guide you on preparing a few simple spaces, and together we'll create beautiful images using the best light your home has to offer.

This means you can stay comfortable, your older children can feel relaxed in their own environment, and your newest little love never has to leave the comfort of home.
