There are some family sessions that stay with you forever — the kind where the light is magic, the kids are full of joy, and every moment feels effortless. My evening with Megan, Grant and their three gorgeous children on the Busselton beach was exactly that.
As a South West WA family photographer, golden hour in Busselton is one of my favourite places to shoot, and this session reminded me why. Warm light, calm water, giggling kids, and a family who simply loves being together — it was perfect.
A Busselton Beach Session Filled with Laughter & Connection
When we arrived at the beach, the sun was dropping low, painting the sky in soft golds and warm pinks — the dream conditions for a golden hour family photography session. Megan and Grant’s three kids were instantly ready for fun. They ran along the shoreline, collected shells, and played in the sand while I captured those natural, in-between moments that tell the real story of a family.
I always tell families that the best photographs come from connection, not posing, and this session proved that. Whether it was Grant giving piggyback rides, Megan wrapping her arms around the kids, or everyone breaking into laughter together — every moment felt authentic and full of heart.
